I just got prompted to enter a code to access the seller features of my account.
I am logged into my account (obviously, since I am posting), but am being told
I must enter a code that has been emailed to me to access the seller features.

Does anyone know if this is yet another unannounced security feature, or is something
shady going on here?

Additional note: this is only happening on my mobile device, not my desktop PC.
I have been logged into my BL account on both devices all morning. Curious.

Its real, but as best I can tell it glitches. I have mine set to go off after
a certain number of days logged off, and occasionally it will make me do it twice
in a day even though I log in daily.
